We take emergency calls seriously — and we also want homeowners to know what truly needs a middle-of-the-night dispatch versus what can safely wait until morning. That honesty keeps our technicians available for situations where health and safety are on the line.

Usually an emergency

  • No heat when outdoor temperatures are below 40°F and vulnerable people are in the home.
  • No cooling during an official heat advisory with infants, elderly, or medical conditions present.
  • Gas smell or suspected carbon monoxide — leave the home and call 911 first, then us after.
  • Water actively flooding from the indoor unit or frozen coil bursting lines.
  • Electrical burning smell from the air handler or outdoor unit — shut off breakers if safe.

Often can wait until business hours

  • System running but not quite reaching setpoint on a mild day.
  • One room warmer than others — zoning or balance issue.
  • Thermostat screen blank with replaceable batteries.
  • Routine maintenance or quote requests.

When you call (602) 555-9163, say "emergency" and describe who is in the home. Our dispatcher routes priority based on safety, not who calls first with a noisy but still-running unit.
